Harvey Fusion Location: Harvey Fusion Cafe and Restaurant, HARVEY Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 per annum About Us We are a busy and well-established cafe and restaurant located in Harvey, WA, serving high-quality coffee, fresh food, and excellent customer service to locals and visitors. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Barista to join our growing team. Key Duties Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based coffees and other hot and cold beverages. Prepare frappés, iced drinks, milkshakes, and smoothies to cafe standards.

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner and provide excellent customer service. Take customer orders accurately and process payments using the POS system. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards.

Operate, clean, and maintain commercial coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment. Monitor coffee beans, milk, and other beverage supplies and assist with stock rotation and replenishment. Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work area in accordance with food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.

Restock display cabinets and ensure the café remains clean, tidy, and well presented. Assist with general café duties as required. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day café operations.

Experience and Qualifications Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as a Barista. Certificate III or IV in Hospitality, Food and Beverage, or a related field will be highly regarded. Demonstrated ability to prepare quality espresso-based coffee, including milk texturing and latte art.

Experience operating commercial coffee machines and grinders. Good knowledge of coffee preparation, beverage service, and café operations. Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety practices. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays. Why Join Us?
