Transport Manager

RONA TRANSPORT PTY LTD We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Transport Manager to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the business, including transport activities, fleet management, staff supervision, compliance, scheduling, and overall operational efficiency. Ongoing support and training. Supportive, and professional work environment. Task & responsibilities Oversee the daily transport operations and ensure services run efficiently.

Plan and coordinate transport schedules, routes, and vehicle operations. Monitor fleet availability, vehicle usage, maintenance, and repairs. Develop and implement strategies to improve transport services and business performance.

Monitor operating costs, fuel expenses, and other transport-related costs. Maintain accurate records of vehicles, trips, staff, expenses, and operational activities. Prepare and manage budgets to control costs and meet business targets.

Recruit, train, supervise, and manage drivers and other transport staff. Allocate duties and prepare staff rosters according to operational requirements. Ensure all vehicles and transport activities comply with safety, road, and workplace regulations.

Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and service providers to ensure smooth operations. Monitor customer service and resolve transport-related issues or complaints. Prepare operational reports and review business performance to improve efficiency.

Qualification & experience Proven experience in transport management or senior operational management roles. Good understanding of transport operations, fleet management, and logistics. Strong communication, leadership, and team management skills.

Experience in scheduling, vehicle coordination, and transport administration. Knowledge of transport safety, workplace health and safety, and compliance requirements. Relevant qualifications or experience in Transport Management, Logistics, Business Management, or a related field are preferred.
