Your new company An exciting opportunity has become available to join a well-established environmental and open space maintenance contractor delivering high-quality horticultural services across Melbourne's bayside region. With a strong focus on safety, quality and community outcomes, this organisation offers long-term opportunities for experienced horticultural professionals looking for stable, ongoing work. Your new role Based out of a Port Melbourne depot, you'll be working across a major municipal parks and gardens contract, assisting in the maintenance and presentation of streetscapes, parks, reserves and public open spaces. Key responsibilities will include:

Garden and landscape maintenance

Planting, pruning, mulching and weed control

Turf and garden bed maintenance

Operating horticultural plant and equipment

General parks and open space upkeep

Working safely as part of a dedicated outdoor crew

What you'll need to succeed To be considered, you will ideally have:

Proven horticultural, parks and gardens or landscaping experience

A Certificate III in Horticulture (highly regarded)

Strong plant identification and maintenance knowledge

Experience using horticultural equipment and tools

A current driver's licence

Happy to obtain a Police Check

A strong work ethic and commitment to quality outcomes

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Candidates with extensive industry experience will be highly regarded, even if they do not hold formal horticultural qualifications. What you'll get in return
