Our client is seeking a passionate and motivated Occupational Therapist Contractor to join their growing team in Ballina. This role offers the opportunity to work across NDIS, paediatrics, and community-based services while enjoying flexibility and autonomy over your schedule.

?? About the Role

As a Contractor Occupational Therapist, you will:

Conduct functional capacity assessments and prepare comprehensive reports

Complete assistive technology assessments and recommendations

Deliver ongoing therapy services focused on capacity building and goal attainment

Conduct cognitive and functional assessments

Provide occupational therapy services to children and adults across a variety of presentations

Deliver clinic-based, community, and in-home services

Complete home modification assessments and equipment prescription recommendations

Collaborate with families, support coordinators, healthcare professionals, and community stakeholders

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and NDIS-compliant reports

?? Essential Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy

Current AHPRA Registration

Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle

National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent organisational and time-management abilities

Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team

Experience working within the NDIS sector

Paediatric occupational therapy experience

Experience with functional capacity assessments, assistive technology, and home modifications

Community-based therapy experience

Aged care experience
