Mechanical Fitter - The Role

Maintain, inspect, and repair conveyors, dock equipment, pumps, valves, compressors, and HVAC components .

Diagnose mechanical faults quickly and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance across warehouse operations .

Read and interpret technical drawings, quality documentation, and maintenance work orders .

Support planned facility shutdowns, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives .

Uphold strict WHS standards and work collaboratively with the maintenance reliability team .

Mechanical Fitter - Hours & Pay

Salary: $90,000 per year + call-outs + overtime opportunities

Shift: Day shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)

What You Need

Trade Qualification as a Mechanical Fitter (Cert III in Engineering or Fitter/Machinist equivalent).

Proven experience in facilities, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing maintenance .

Solid working knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment .

Strong troubleshooting skills, physical fitness, and a safety-first mindset .
