Cool Bananas Services Pty Ltd About the Role COOL BANANAS SERVICES PTY LTD (“Cool Bananas”) is a managed services business specialising in the provision of ICT support services to the education sector. We are currently seeking skilled and experienced ICT Support Engineers to join our growing team and provide specialist technical support across school ICT environments throughout Victoria. The successful applicants will provide technical expertise and support across ICT systems, networks, operating systems, applications and associated infrastructure.

The role requires strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, together with the ability to support users, resolve complex ICT issues and contribute to the effective, secure and reliable operation of ICT environments. Duties and Responsibilities As an ICT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for, but not limited to: Develop and maintain technical support procedures and strategies for ICT systems, networks, operating systems and applications.

Investigate, diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, operating system, network and connectivity issues across school ICT environments. Provide specialist technical support and guidance to users in relation to ICT systems, applications, infrastructure and operational procedures. Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, peripherals, software applications, servers, storage and backup systems and associated ICT infrastructure.

Support and troubleshoot wired and wireless network infrastructure, internet connectivity and related network equipment and services. Monitor ICT systems and infrastructure, identify recurring technical or performance issues and implement appropriate corrective actions and improvements. Support the deployment and maintenance of new technologies, hardware replacement programs, software deployments, system updates and infrastructure upgrades.

Implement and maintain ICT security controls, including secure system configuration, access controls, antivirus and antimalware protection, software updates and remediation of identified security issues. Manage and resolve ICT incidents, including investigating faults, implementing technical solutions, escalating significant issues where required and maintaining accurate incident records. Review ICT systems and infrastructure and provide technical recommendations regarding hardware, software, system performance and improvements to ICT support processes.

Create and maintain technical, system and user documentation, including operating procedures, technical guides, support records and system documentation. Liaise with schools, users and relevant technical stakeholders to identify ICT requirements, resolve technical issues and provide appropriate technical advice and support. These duties reflect the TSSP Specialist Technician responsibilities, which include end-user support, installation and configuration, fault diagnosis, support of servers and network infrastructure, ICT security, incident management and technical documentation.

Required Skills and Experience The successful applicant will have: A relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, Systems Administration or a related field, or equivalent relevant industry experience and recognised professional certifications. At least 12 months of relevant professional experience in ICT support, systems support, infrastructure support or a comparable technical role.

Demonstrated experience diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, operating system, network and connectivity issues. Experience supporting end-user devices, servers, network infrastructure and software applications. Sound knowledge of ICT security principles, access controls, system updates and secure system configuration.

Experience with incident management, technical troubleshooting and preparation of technical documentation. Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to work independently and effectively manage competing technical support priorities. What We Offer Full-time employment.

Salary of $79,500 – $82,000 per annum plus superannuation. Opportunity to work across a range of ICT environments within the education sector. Positions available throughout Victoria.
