Our client is amongst the world's top producers of major commodities, including iron ore, metallurgical coal, copper and uranium. They extract and process minerals, oil and gas from their production operations located primarily in Australia and the Americas.
Your new role
We are currently seeking a Senior Planner and a Senior Cost Engineer to support a major project within a leading mining organisation.
Senior Planner
Develop, manage and maintain detailed project schedules aligned with approved scope, standards and baselines.
Monitor schedule performance, contractor progress and project risks, providing clear reporting and recommendations.
Support schedule governance, change management, resource planning and scenario analysis activities.
Coordinate stakeholder inputs and facilitate schedule reviews to ensure alignment across project teams.
Senior Cost Engineer
Provide cost control support across studies and projects, including forecasting, budgeting and cost performance reporting.
Apply change management governance to ensure scope, schedule and cost changes are managed effectively.
Analyse project data and prepare accurate reports to support decision-making.
Maintain project cost information and reporting within SAP while ensuring compliance with governance requirements.
Work closely with project teams and key stakeholders to support successful project outcomes.
What you'll need to succeed
Demonstrated experience in study or project cost controls is essential.
Strong knowledge of change management governance, with the ability to support controlled, compliant and well-documented processes.
Advanced Excel capability, including the ability to independently analyse complex data using formulas, pivot tables and reporting tools.
Experience using SAP is mandatory; exposure to Ecosys will be highly regarded.
