$83.20 per hour (inc. 25% casual loading+ 30% shift loading) + overtime
Every other Friday off (9-day fortnight)
Afternoon shift available now
4:00pm - 12:30am (every 2nd Friday 5:30pm - 12:00am)
Core Duties
Working as part of the fabrication team
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and working to specifications
Adhering to strong safety procedures and requirements
Requirements
Australian Work Rights
Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Heavy fabrication experience with MIG and Flux Core Welding
Ability to read drawings
A "safety-first" mindset in a workshop environment
As a Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Identity Card (NSSIC) is required for this role, applicants must have the right to work in Australia and be eligible to obtain and maintain the appropriate clearances including NSSIC and ITAR.
