Veer Punia pty Ltd Veer Punia Pty Ltd t/as Desi Barbers Canningvale is seeking an experienced and skilled Hairdresser to join our team in Canning Vale, WA . We are looking for a confident hairdressing professional with strong technical skills across a wide range of hair services. The successful candidate should have particular experience in ladies' haircuts, styling and hair treatments , while also being capable of providing professional grooming and hairdressing services to a diverse clientele.

Cutting and shaping hair using professional scissors, clippers, razors and other hairdressing equipment. Washing, shampooing and conditioning clients' hair and scalp prior to cutting, colouring or styling services. Performing professional ladies' haircuts , including contemporary, layered and customised styles based on individual client requirements.

Providing hair colouring, highlighting, straightening, curling, permanent waving and other chemical hair treatments where required. Styling hair for everyday wear, special occasions and events using appropriate styling techniques and products. Providing specialised hair services including braiding, dreadlocks and the application or maintenance of hair extensions where required.

Trimming, shaping and grooming beards and moustaches and providing shaving services where appropriate. Advising clients on maintaining healthy hair and recommending suitable products and treatments. Ensuring all hairdressing tools, equipment and workstations are thoroughly cleaned, disinfected and maintained in accordance with hygiene requirements.

Managing client bookings and appointments and assisting with customer enquiries. Processing customer payments and maintaining a professional level of customer service. Keeping up to date with current hairdressing techniques, hairstyles, products and industry trends.

Where required, cutting, colouring or styling wigs, hairpieces and extensions. Working collaboratively with other team members to maintain an efficient, welcoming and professional salon environment. Qualification & experience A minimum of 2–3 years of relevant professional hairdressing experience .

Strong experience in ladies' haircuts and hairstyling is essential. Excellent cutting, colouring and styling skills across different hair types and textures. Experience using scissors, clippers, razors and professional hairdressing equipment.

Knowledge of hair colouring, straightening and other chemical treatments. Good knowledge of hair care products and treatments. Strong attention to detail and ability to understand individual client preferences.

Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to maintain high standards of hygiene, presentation and workplace cleanliness.
