Telecommunications Field Engineer

AK Telecommunications PTY LTD We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Field Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will plan, design, commission and monitor complex telecommunications networks and equipment, provide expert technical advice, and identify and resolve complex network issues. You will play a key role in ensuring reliable, high-performing telecommunications infrastructure for our clients.

Benefits -Competitive salary in line with experience -Supportive and collaborative team environment -Opportunities for professional development and career growth -Ongoing training to build on industry skills -Stable, full-time employment with an established company Task & responsibilities -Installing, servicing and troubleshooting radio, microwave, satellite and other electromagnetic communication systems -Integrating and configuring network and telecommunications equipment with software, hardware, devices and operating systems -Maintaining accurate records of equipment, inventory and system status, and updating documentation related to procedures, standards and compliance -Offering technical guidance and monitoring the ongoing performance of telecommunications systems -Planning and developing infrastructure to support customer network access -Coordinating with vendors, suppliers and external service providers, and tracking delivery against contractual obligations -Delivering hands-on support for the design, optimisation, troubleshooting and repair of network performance issues Qualification & experience - A Diploma or higher qualification in a related field is required - A minimum of 12 months of relevant experience in this role is required - Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and liaise effectively with clients, vendors and team members About Company We are based in Newcastle, NSW, specialising in network design, servers and infrastructure, IT support and telecommunications services for businesses.
