Personal Care Worker - Geelong

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Workers to join our care team. In this role you will provide high-quality person-centred care that supports clients to maintain their independence and wellbeing in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver personal care including showering toileting dressing grooming and mobility assistance

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

Assist with light domestic duties such as cleaning laundry and meal preparation

Support clients with medication reminders and general health monitoring

Escort clients to appointments shopping, and community activities as required

Report changes in client condition to care coordinators or registered nurses

Maintain accurate documentation and uphold privacy and confidentiality standards

Follow care plans and ensure safe manual handling practices at all times

Essential Criteria

Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent required

Current First Aid and CPR certification

Current National Police Check or willing to obtain

Valid Australian Drivers Licence and reliable insured vehicle

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team

A genuine passion for caring and helping others

NDIS Screening check

Desirable Criteria

Previous experience in aged care disability support or home and community care

Understanding of person-centred care principles

Manual Handling training

Flexible availability including weekends and public holidays

*Casual role with the option for permanent part-time down the track

*Award wages

*Starting 10-15hrs p/week and increasing
