About the Role

You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. It is one of the nation's most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. Our facilities and services are world class, and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.

6 East 1 is a friendly and supportive team providing care across renal medicine, rheumatology, immunology and endocrinology, with opportunities to work across both the inpatient ward and inpatient renal dialysis unit. This role offers excellent exposure to a range of specialties within a tertiary referral hospital.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of patient centred; evidence informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Ideal Candidate

Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).

Understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking.

Effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.

Completion of a New Graduate Program and-or acute hospital experience will be beneficial for the role.

Ability to work a rotating roster.
