Light Vehicle Technician

Light Vehicle Solutions PTY LTD or Complete Mechanical Support PTY LTD are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Light Vehicle Technician to join our team in Moranbah QLD.

The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

- Diagnose and detect mechanical faults in cars manually or by the use of computer diagnostic programs

- Examine vehicle parts to ensure that they are working perfectly

- Follow Checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined

- Maintain and repair vehicles for customers

- Air-conditioning & basic Auto electrical repairs

- Assist customers in carrying out routine maintenance on vehicles such as changing oil, lubricating frictional car parts, tightening bolts and nuts and tyre change and rotation

- Following environmental sustainable work practices

- Help customers in buying quality car parts for replacement

- Replace damaged or worn-out car parts

- Keep leading mechanic inquiries and render advice on vehicle maintenance

- Ensure the safety of vehicles brought in for repair

- Daily workshop housekeeping & safety reporting

- Test drive each vehicle after repair

Qualifications and Skills

- Certificate III Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent

- Ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Trade qualified Automotive Technician

- Problem-solvingng skills

- Aptitude for technical activities

- Ability to work in a team environment

Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience
