ABOUT THE BUSINESS

Lexom Systems specialises in professional migration drafting and reporting services for migration professionals and related businesses. The business prepares technical migration documentation requiring detailed legislative research, evidence assessment, occupational analysis, market research and professional written submissions.

The role will operate in a high-volume professional environment and requires a strong commitment to accuracy, productivity and consistent drafting standards.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Lexom Systems is seeking a Registered Migration Agent to join its drafting and reporting team. The position is suitable for a recently registered RMA, and no prior professional migration experience is essential. Previous migration drafting or industry experience will be advantageous.

The successful candidate will receive comprehensive practical training and develop hands-on capability in technical migration research, report preparation, evidence analysis and professional B2B drafting. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and the ability to produce well-structured, professionally formatted documents are essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prepare technically detailed migration reports and submissions, including Genuine Position Reports and Australian Market Salary Research reports across a range of visa subclasses and occupations.

2. Conduct detailed legislative, policy, occupational, remuneration and labour market research and apply findings to individual matters.

3. Analyse client instructions, nominee profiles, employment information and supporting evidence to identify inconsistencies, evidentiary gaps and relevant migration considerations.

4. Produce professionally structured reports and submissions using Microsoft Word, including formatting, tables, annexures, cross-referencing and document quality control.

5. Undertake B2B drafting and professional correspondence for migration consulting groups, including clarifying instructions and managing drafting requirements.

6. Contribute actively to business development through identifying prospective professional clients, maintaining B2B relationships, following up enquiries and supporting the development of new business opportunities.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Current Registered Migration Agent registration.

• Strong technical writing, research and analytical capability.

• High level of attention to detail and document accuracy.

• Advanced hands-on proficiency in Microsoft Word and professional document formatting.

• Ability to interpret instructions, research independently and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong commercial awareness and confidence communicating with professional clients.

• Commitment to learning and developing technical migration drafting expertise.

• Previous migration industry or drafting experience is beneficial but not essential.
