About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ICT Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing business processes, identifying operational and system requirements, and working with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement effective ICT solutions that support the organisation's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse existing business processes, procedures and ICT systems to identify areas for improvement.

• Consult with management, staff and relevant stakeholders to gather and document business and system requirements.

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system requirements for ICT solutions.

• Identify inefficiencies, system limitations and operational issues, and recommend appropriate ICT solutions and process improvements.

• Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, business requirement documents and functional specifications.

• Work closely with developers, technical teams and other stakeholders throughout system development and implementation.

• Assist with the testing and validation of new systems, system enhancements and business process changes.

• Review proposed ICT solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and organisational objectives.

• Support the implementation of new systems and processes, including user acceptance testing, documentation and staff guidance.

• Monitor implemented solutions and recommend further system or process improvements where required.

• Maintain accurate documentation relating to business requirements, system changes, procedures and project outcomes.

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure ICT projects and system improvements are delivered effectively.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.

• Relevant professional experience as an ICT Business Analyst or in a closely related role.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and business process analysis skills.

• Ability to gather, analyse and document business and system requirements.

• Good understanding of ICT systems, system development and implementation processes.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
