Finance Broker

The Role

We are seeking for a motivated Finance Broker that has a diverse portfolio to join our team at X M Property Services Pty Ltd. This role will require a proven track record of navigating complex credit landscapes. We are looking for a strategic advisor who can independently command the end-to-end credit process. Your role begins from initial consultation with clients, to complex loan structuring and loan settlement. You will exercise significant professional judgment to ensure every solution is not only compliant but strategically aligned with the client’s long-term financial goals.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide credit advise to a diverse client portfolio. You will interpret complex financial data to provide authoritative guidance on loan suitability and financial strategy.

• Function as the lead negotiator with BDMs and credit underwriters at both bank and non-bank lenders. You will advocate for your clients’ interest, resolving credit bottlenecks and securing approvals on complex deals.

• Proactively identify opportunities to expand client portfolios.

• You will also handle inquiries for new home loans which we refer directly to you from our extensive existing client data base and referral partnerships, which requires fully office-based attendance.

• Contribute to the evolution of the firm’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), providing input on workflow efficiencies and mentoring junior staff on credit policy nuances.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: 1–3 years of experience as a Finance Broker or Senior Credit Analyst with a heavy focus on residential, Asset, Consumer, and Commercial lending.

• Autonomy: Demonstrated ability to work independently, making critical decisions on file direction without constant supervision.

• Compliance Expertise: Deep, practical knowledge of the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 and a rigid commitment to BID.

• Communication: Exceptional ability to translate high-level financial concepts into clear, actionable advice for sophisticated investors and first-home buyers alike.

• Education: Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking with a relevant Diploma/Bachelors/ Masters degree.
