Pig Farmer

Nunez Holdings Pty Ltd is seeking applicants for a Pig Farmer position located in regional Victoria.

Applicants must have at least a Bachelor Degree or 5 years of relevant experience.

Understanding and passion for the Farm industry

Previous experience in a similar role.

Constant monitoring of the Farm.

Sound knowledge in Piggery Farm Techniques and Management.

To be able to work and communicate effectively as part of a team.

Duties for Piggery Farmer:

Constant monitoring of the piggery to make sure that it is well maintained and is on top working order.

Attend any safety and Industry Educational training for which his employer deems necessary.

Control and monitor the health and the administration of drugs to the livestock.

Moving and weaning livestock to optimize growth and breeding opportunities.

Organizing and conducting farming operations such as feeding, moving, vaccinating and breeding including artificial Insemination and teeth and tail docking of livestock, pressure washing and disinfecting pends and milling feed.

Organizing the livestock for sale, purchase and transportation.

A remuneration package is between $794223 to $90,000 plus Superannuation will be negotiated depending on skills and experience.
