Sheetmetal Worker

Bunbury Insulation Services is currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Sheetmetal Worker to join their team in Bunbury WA.

The successful applicant will need to possess and undertake:

- Have a willingness to work with strong attention to detail

- Be punctual and responsible

- Proficiency in both MIG and TIG welding

- Ability to read and interpret drawings to fine specifications

- Experience in handling a range of materials, including difficult materials

- Experience with materials such as steel, aluminum & polymer

- Cutting material, weld prep, grinding

- Adherence to WHS

- Select types of Sheetmetal according to building or design plans

- Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets

- Duct fabrication in some roles

- Fabricate, modify and install sheet metal parts on site

- Maneuver and anchor large sheet metal parts

- Forming of sheet metal parts using folding and bending machines, rollers, presses and hammers.

Skills & Attributes:

- At least 3 years’ experience in steel/aluminum Sheetmetal and/or duct fabrication

- Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication) or equivalent

- Ability to work in a team environment

Salary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience.

Fulltime Position available.
