About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and talented Chef / Cook to join our dynamic team at Stanley's Barn Restaurant in Upper Coomera QLD 4209. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for a culinary professional to showcase their skills and contribute to the success of our acclaimed restaurant.

What you'll be doing

* Preparing and cooking a variety of high-quality dishes from our diverse menu

* Ensuring compliance and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

* Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely service

* Assisting in menu development and implementation of new recipes and special event catering.

* Monitoring inventory and placing orders to maintain adequate supplies

* Adhering to budgetary guidelines and controlling food costs

* Contributing to a positive and professional kitchen environment

What we're looking for

* Formal culinary qualification (Certificate IV in commercial cookery or equivalent)

* Must have a minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

* Strong technical cooking skills and a passion for creating exceptional dishes

* Excellent time management, multitasking and problem-solving abilities

* A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively

* Familiarity with food safety regulations and kitchen operations

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Available Wednesday through Sunday ( plus Public Holidays)
