DR Landscaping Pty Ltd is an established landscaping company based on the Sunshine Coast, delivering high-quality landscape construction and maintenance services across residential, commercial and local government projects.

Our work includes landscape construction, retaining walls, nature play spaces, garden refurbishments, commercial landscape maintenance and outdoor infrastructure projects.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Landscape Gardener to join our team on a full-time basis.

About the Role

Working as part of our experienced team, you will be involved in a wide variety of landscape construction and maintenance activities, including:

Construct garden landscaped based on interpretation of plans and drawings

Landscape construction.

Timber, concrete sleeper and rock retaining walls.

Paving, concreting and edging installation.

Turfing, planting and irrigation.

Garden maintenance and soft landscaping.

Site preparation and excavation.

Operation of landscaping machinery and equipment.

Reading landscape plans and working to project specifications.

Maintaining a safe and organised worksite.

Projects are primarily located throughout the Sunshine Coast, with occasional work in Brisbane and regional Queensland.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

At least 1 year experience in landscape construction or a related trade.

Minimum Cert III Landscape Construction or equivalent industry experience required.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail.

Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Current Construction White Card (essential).

Current Working with Children Blue Card, or the ability to obtain one (essential).

Current Australian Driver's Licence (manual preferred).

Certificate III in Machinery tickets (excavator, skid steer, chainsaw, etc.) and MR Licence (highly regarded).

Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on role requiring a high level of physical fitness. The successful applicant must be able to:

Perform manual outdoor work in varying weather conditions, including heat, rain and cold.

Lift, carry and move landscaping materials safely.

Operate hand tools, power tools and landscaping machinery.

Work safely on uneven ground and construction sites.

Be reliable, punctual and capable of maintaining a productive work pace throughout the day.

As our team regularly works on commercial sites, schools and childcare centres, the successful applicant must maintain a professional standard of presentation and behaviour at all times. This includes complying with client site policies, including designated smoke-free workplace requirements.
