Nebo Motors operates from premises that include a small automotive parts, accessories and safety shop, along with a workshop for vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs and tyre fitting. Its sister business, Nebo Towing Services, holds local RACQ roadside assistance and towing contracts, as well as several other roadside breakdown service contracts. We are the Nebo Hydraulink distributor and the Nebo BOC agency. We also provide pilot and escort services to a select group of small transport firms.

This role offers varied and interesting work for a highly qualified diesel automotive mechanic with experience in logbook servicing, brakes, clutches, suspension, exhaust systems, auto electrical repairs and air-conditioning servicing. The successful applicant will also be offered RACQ patrol and tow truck training.

Essential Requirements:

? Trade qualification as a heavy diesel mechanic, with experience in light and heavy vehicles

? Queensland RWC Approved Examiner status highly regarded, or willingness to obtain it

? Minimum four years’ post-trade experience

? Experience servicing and repairing a broad range of vehicles

? Diagnostic experience, including fault finding and completing repairs

? Ability to liaise effectively and work well in a team environment

? Ability to complete, finalize and accurately record jobs and related paperwork

? Ability to supervise and mentor apprentices of all ages and backgrounds

? Current Queensland MR driver license, or willingness to obtain one

? Must be reliable and honest

? Own tools of trade
