Job Summary:

Ashar & Sons Pty Ltd is a well-established transport company based in Dianella, WA, specialising in the delivery of goods for major clients including supermarkets, fast food chains, and other leading brands. The company prides itself on providing reliable and timely transport services, operating across metropolitan and regional routes throughout Western Australia. We are seeking a full-time Truck Driver to support daily transport operations and ensure the safe and efficient delivery of goods. This role is responsible for maintaining delivery schedules, operating vehicles safely, and representing the company professionally when interacting with clients and delivery personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company trucks to deliver goods to client locations

• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries in accordance with schedules

• Load and unload goods in a safe and efficient manner

• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and report any maintenance issues

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and logbooks as required by law

• Comply with road safety regulations and company policies at all times

• Plan routes effectively to meet delivery deadlines and operational requirements

• Represent the company professionally in all interactions with clients and site personnel

• Monitor vehicle condition and coordinate servicing when required

• Assist with general transport and logistics duties as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Relevant licence (HR or MC class driver’s licence, as applicable)

• At least 3 year of relevant work experience in a similar truck driving role

• Clean driving record and knowledge of road safety regulations

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Physically fit and able to handle manual loading and unloading tasks

• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety and service excellence
