Barbers/ Hairdresser

We are currently looking for skilled and experienced Barbers/ Hairdresser to join our team. These are permanent, full-time positions.

Responsibilities:

-Providing advice on hair care, products and hairstyles

-Shampooing hair and conditioning scalps

-Cutting hair with scissors, clippers and razors

-Shaving and trimming beards and moustaches

-Cleaning work areas and sanitizing instruments

-Arranging appointments and collecting payments

-Provide consistent experience across all services including haircuts, shaves and beard services

-Open the shop in the morning and complete open admin tasks

-End of day close/cash reconciliation and handling

Qualifications and Skills:

-AQF Certificate lll or minimum of 3 years relevant experience as a Barber/Hairstylist

-Competent in all haircut styles, fades and on trend styling, as well as all shave and beard services

-Understand what is current in the industry

-A basic understanding of upselling techniques/retail offering

-A positive and respectful attitude

-Leadership qualities

Salary range: $79,423 to $85,000
