D&T Hydraulics is a local family-owned cylinder repair & manufacturing business. The company employs over 100 highly skilled employees from Boilermakers, Welders, Fitters, Machinists, Drafts people and TA's. This dedicated workforce is supported by technical, sales and support staff guaranteeing projects and the workforce is managed in a professional manner without compromising, quality, safety or the environment. We require a motivated & experienced Metal Fabricator to join our expanding facility.

We are highly reputable and boast a modern workshop with excellent working and pay conditions.

Job tasks and responsibilities

The successful applicant should demonstrate the following skills:

• Minimum 3 Years industry experience

• Trade qualification as a Metal Fabricator, preferably with experience in the repair and refurbishment of hydraulic cylinders and components

• Experienced with ID welders & rotators (desirable not essential)

• Proficiency in MIG welding (solid and fluxcore)

• Skilled in arc gouging techniques

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Excellent teamworking and communication skills

• Strong commitment to workplace health, safety, and quality standards

• Reliable, self-motivated, and possessing a strong work ethic

• Current driver's licence and reliable transport

Preferable

• Rigging and Dogging Ticket

• Forklift licence
