IAM Forgerock Engineer

We are seeking an experienced IAM ForgeRock Engineer to design, develop, implement and support enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. The successful candidate will work on secure authentication, authorisation, identity federation and Single Sign-On solutions across complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain IAM solutions using ForgeRock technologies.

Configure and develop authentication and authorisation journeys, SSO and identity federation.

Integrate ForgeRock with enterprise applications, APIs and external identity providers.

Implement and maintain authentication protocols including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC) and SAML 2.0.

Develop scripts and automation to support IAM deployments, configuration and environment management.

Troubleshoot application and identity-related issues and provide technical solutions for production environments.

Perform software integration, testing, security hardening and vulnerability remediation.

Support highly available IAM environments and participate in incident management and root-cause analysis.

Work with architects, developers, infrastructure and security teams to deliver secure and scalable IAM solutions.

Prepare technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of IAM platforms and processes.

Essential Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in software engineering and/or enterprise IAM.

Hands-on experience with ForgeRock, including ForgeRock AM/IDM/DS.

Strong understanding of IAM, CIAM, SSO and identity federation.

Experience with OAuth 2.0, OIDC and SAML 2.0.

Experience integrating IAM platforms with enterprise applications and APIs.

Strong scripting, software integration, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Experience working with cloud or containerised environments is desirable.

Experience in large-scale enterprise environments, particularly banking or financial services, is highly desirable.
