We are looking for experienced Vehicle Painters and Panel Beaters to join our team at Auto Care Panel Works located at Winnellie NT.

VEHICLE PAINTERS

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Masking, sanding, buffing, and detailing

* Application of filler and primers

* Metal preparation for paint

* Spray painting

* Prime and topcoat

* Colour matching

* Maintaining and cleaning equipment

Qualifications & Requirements:

* Ability to work independently in a time and safe manner and in a team from time to time

* Qualified vehicle painter with at least 3 years’ experience

* Additional experience may be considered in lieu of qualifications

* Attention to detail and pride in your work

* Experience with painting a variety of vehicle brands and models

* Understanding of workplace health and safety

PANEL BEATERS

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Vehicle strips and rebuilds

* Remove, repair and replace damaged panels following repair procedures

* Repair dents on damaged panels using fillers

* Filing, grinding and sanding the body of the vehicle to restore to pre-accident condition

* Re-fit and align all parts

* Realign chassis and body frame

Qualifications & Requirements:

* Relevant Trade qualification with 3+ years of relevant experience - essential.

* Trade Licence or ability to apply for trade licence is required

* Ability to work independently in a timely and safe manner and also in a team

* Attention to detail and pride in your work.

* Experience with panel beating on a variety of vehicle brands and models

* Understanding of workplace health and safety.

* Positive and motivated.

* Great team player

* Fantastic communications skills

* A keen eye for detail

* Adhere to all work, health and safety policies and procedures

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
