Salary : $75,000 - $85,000 a year

With boasting views of the Gulf of Carpentaria, an outdoor pool, a sea-view bar and a restaurant the Groote Eylandt Lodge is located in Alyangula in the North-Western part of Groote Eylandt. Groote Eylandt Lodge offers quality waterfront accommodation, incorporating Seagrass Restaurant, a conference suite, day spa, art centre and cultural experiences, and Sports Fishing Operation.

Groote Eylandt Lodge is currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Office Manager to join their team.

Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate the day-to-day administrative functions and office services of the Lodge.

Coordinate administrative support for the Lodge’s accommodation, restaurant, conference, fishing and cultural tourism operations.

Allocate office resources, equipment and administrative tasks to ensure efficient business operations.

Manage office records, accounts, invoices, purchasing and supplier administration.

Coordinate personnel administration, including payroll, staff records, recruitment and onboarding.

Liaise with management, operational teams, suppliers and contractors to coordinate business requirements and resolve administrative issues.

Maintain office supplies, equipment and facilities and coordinate required services.

Ensure administrative activities comply with company policies, workplace requirements and relevant legislation.

Prepare reports, correspondence and business information to support management decision-making.

Qualification, Skills and Experience:

Relevant qualification and at least 2 years’ experience.

Strong organisational and time management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
