Chef-de-Partie (Cafe & Catering)

Join the engine room of The Shed Cafe Parramatta. We are seeking a Chef-de-Partie who excels in both "on-the-line" cooking and catering services. You will support the Head Chef in maintaining our reputation for fresh, Modern Australian cuisine and premium corporate catering.

Your Responsibilities:

Oversee daily food prep and service quality for both dine-in and off-site catering.

Coordinate the logistics of large-scale catering orders, ensuring timely dispatch and premium presentation.

Assist in menu planning, estimating food/labour costs, and ordering supplies.

Strictly enforce hygiene and OHS regulations across all kitchen sections.

Selection Criteria:

Minimum 1–2 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills for coordinating with the front-of-house and catering clients.
