Support Facilitator

Join Our Team: Support Worker, Aged Care and Domestic Cleaner Positions Available Multiple Positions in the following areas:

1) Moreton Bay Region (Redcliffe, Kedron, Samford, Bracken Ridge and Strathpine).

2)Sunshine Coast, Gympie & Hervey Bay.

3) Caboolture, Burpengary and Morayfield.

4) Brisbane (North, West and Inner Suburbs)

5) Logan & Outer Brisbane Suburbs.

6) Bay Area (Wynnum to Mt Cotton).

Hours available: Range from weekday and weekends, including school hours, 5am starts, 5pm starts and 10pm finishes.

We are flexible with staff to allow work life balance, if you have a small window of available hours, please do not allow this to prevent you from applying. We consider all applications, regardless if would like to work 38 hours a week or 5 hours a week.

We are currently seeking compassionate, dedicated individuals to join our team as Support Workers, Aged Care Workers and Domestic Cleaners (separate roles).

What are we looking for?

?Compassion, understanding and empathy towards disability and mental health in its various forms. Working with children, adults, elderly and all genders/backgrounds.

? Understanding and a willingness to learn about ALL or some of the following conditions: dementia, substance use, ASD and non verbal support.

?Personal care experience or willingness to learn.

?All or part availability for weekdays and weekends. Including active and inactive overnight support.

?Attention to detail in household tasks is essential.

?Strong written and verbal communication skills. Including use of a mobile phone with access to data.

?Access to a reliable car on a regular basis and to be able to drive confidently with passengers.

?Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A proactive attitude is a must.

?Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.

?Ability to obtain/maintain blue card, worker screening clearance, First Aid, CPR, car insurance, a registered vehicle and other compliance requirements as per NDIS framework.

The housekeeping and cleaning component of shifts is essential for each shift and can look different for each participant. Such as assisting with changing bed sheets, meal preparation, clothes washing, grocery shopping ect.
