About Us

Two Fives Café is a busy neighbourhood café in Rosebery, NSW, known for serving quality coffee, fresh brunch, and seasonal dishes in a welcoming environment. We are committed to delivering excellent food and customer service and are seeking a passionate and experienced Cook to join our growing kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast, brunch, lunch, and café menu items to a consistently high standard.

• Assist in developing seasonal menus and daily specials.

• Ensure food is prepared in accordance with recipes and presentation standards.

• Monitor food quality, portion control, and minimise food waste.

• Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen.

• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation.

• Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• At least 2 years' experience as a Cook in a café or restaurant environment.

• Relevant commercial cookery qualification (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent) is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of breakfast and brunch cooking.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.

• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Positive attitude, reliability, and excellent teamwork skills.

• Availability to work weekends and public holidays as required.
