Toodyay Supermarket Pty Ltd t/as Toodyay I.G.A is a leading grocery retailer and wholesaler, committed to delivering high-quality products to our customers and clients. The business is seeking to employ a full-time retail manager to manage store operations and drive sales performance.

• Location: Toodyay, WA 6566

• Annual Remuneration: Between $79,500 and $87,500 plus superannuation depending on skills and experience

• Type Permanent and Full Time

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Driving store performance through effective management of product selection, pricing strategies and overall merchandise planning.

• Coordinating purchasing and supplier activity to ensure appropriate stock availability and a well-balanced product range.

• Leading in-store marketing initiatives and promotions to increase customer traffic and sales outcomes.

• Managing financial performance, including budgeting, cost control and maintenance of accurate stock and transaction records.

• Building and developing a high-performing team through recruitment, training, supervision and ongoing staff development.

• Maintaining a strong customer focus by supporting product enquiries and ensuring a high standard of service delivery.

• Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety standards, company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• A minimum 1 year of full-time, or equivalent part-time, experience in retail or store management or as departmental manager or supervisor with financial responsibilities.

• Proven ability to manage retail supermarket operations effectively.

• Sound understanding of stock presentation, loss prevention, and inventory control.

• Strong customer-focused approach.

• Intermediate-level IT proficiency.

• Availability to work weekends as required.

Remuneration and Conditions:

An annual remuneration between $79,500 and $87,500 plus superannuation will be offered to the right candidate, depending on skills and experience. Employment conditions will be provided in accordance with the General Retail Industry Award (MA000004)
