Child Care Workers

We are an early childhood education and care provider in Peakhurst providing long day care and early learning programs, care for children from infancy through preschool age, play-based learning environments indoor and outdoor learning spaces and nutritious meals and daily care essentials for children, secure and safe environments, stimulating learning experiences which cultivate the individual needs of each child in line with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards. We are now looking for passionate Child Care Workers to join our caring team. We will be looking for people that educated with experience and understand the needs of families and children. We are offering $75K to $85K

You will be required to:

• Supervise children to ensure their safety and wellbeing.

• Support children's learning through play-based activities.

• Assist with feeding, mealtimes, and healthy eating routines.

• Help young children with toileting, hygiene, and personal care.

• Observe and document children's development and learning progress.

• Prepare educational activities, games, arts, and crafts.

• Maintain clean, safe, and engaging learning environments.

• Communicate with parents about children's daily experiences and development.

• Follow child protection, health, and safety policies.

• Work collaboratively with other educators and centre management.

• Comply with the National Quality Framework (NQF), centre policies relating to children's health, safety, & education.

You will need:

• Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood Education or Diploma of Early Childhood Education

• Current First Aid Certificate

• Working with Children Check

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience
