Position Title: Full Time Retail Manager

Salary: A$ 79,499 + Superannuation

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deciding on the range of products to offer, appropriate stock quantities, and expected service levels.

• Developing and applying purchasing and marketing strategies.

• Determining product strategic pricing policy.

• Promoting the business’s products and services through advertising and other promotional activities.

• Assisting customers with purchases, making sales, and providing advice on how to use products.

• Keeping accurate records of inventory levels, sales, expenses, and other financial transactions.

• Preparing and managing the business purchase budgets to coordinate with finance division.

• Managing the recruitment, training, performance, and supervision of employees.

• Making sure the business follows all workplace health and safety laws and requirements.

• Coordinating transfer and stock movements in stores between multiple retail outlets.

• Ability to coordinate with management in establishment of new outlet.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

It is expected that this role can demonstrate the following:

Essential requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role or capacity

• Tertiary qualification in Business

• Extensive experience in cash handling procedures and Lightspeed X-Series POS system in an integrated environment

• Sound knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks

• Demonstrated ability to lead by example, with a positive “can-do” attitude
