Truck Drivers

Goldstar Transport is seeking experienced and safety-focused Truck Drivers (General) to join their growing transport operations in Kewdale, WA

The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

- Operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently

- Conduct vehicle inspections and safety checks

- Load, secure and unload freight in accordance with requirements

- Complete deliveries within scheduled timeframes

- Maintain accurate transport documentation and records

- Liaise with dispatch, schedulers and customers regarding delivery activities

- Report vehicle faults, incidents and maintenance requirements

- Comply with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations and fatigue management requirements

- Follow workplace health and safety procedures

- Always represent the company professionally at all times

Skills and Abilities:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A valid Australian HR, HC or MC Driver License

- Experience operating heavy vehicles within the transport and logistics industry

- Strong understanding of road transport regulations and load restraint requirements

- Ability to complete transport documentation accurately

- Good communication skills and a professional attitude

- Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe driving practices

- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

- Physical ability to undertake loading and unloading activities when required

Highly Regarded

- Experience transporting steel, containers, gas products, FMCG or specialized freight

- Forklift License

- Experience working under fatigue management systems

- Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility requirements

Salary range is $75,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience
