As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Motor Mechanic to join our team.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform general mechanical servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles

• Inspect and diagnose faults engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems

• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues accurately

• Carry out tyre fitting, wheel balancing, and alignment where required

• Conduct road tests to ensure vehicle meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards

• Repair or replace worn, damages, or defective components with attention to detail

• Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and job documentation

• Ensure all work complies with workplace health and safety standards and workshop procedures

• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment

• Provide professional customer service when required

Qualifications and experience:

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification

• Minimum 2-3 years or experience as a Motor Mechanic

• Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repair techniques

• Experience in tyre services, wheel alignment, and balancing is highly regarded

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy workshop

• Sound understanding of workplace health and safety practices

• Strong problem solving, diagnostic, and time management skills

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality workmanship

• Availability to work weekends or extended hours as required

Base salary:

$80,000 - $85,000 a year - full-time + superannuation
