Who are we and what we need!

Independent Timber Supplies are a WA business that is locally owned and been operating for over 30 years. We service a range of Project Builders, Custom Builders and Owner Builders in the Western Australian building market.

The successful person will be responsible for producing quality engineered prefabricated roof, floor and wall systems in a busy, dynamic and growing team environment. The role would suit a 'hands on' person with a strong work ethic and someone that takes pride in their work.

About the role:

• Manufacturing of timber frames and trusses, using saw operations

• Physical loading of timber for machining

• Using computer systems to reduce waste and increase accuracy.

• Being multi skilled and being able to multitask between stations.

• Hand tool use

• General housekeeping to promote a safe and efficient workplace.

To Successful you will need:

• Willingness to Drug and Alcohol testing and understanding that random testing may be done during employment.

• Trade Certification

• Timber, fabrication or construction knowledge

• Safe work practices are essential.
