About the Role

The Trustee for Mandem Wise Unit Trust is seeking a qualified and experienced Retail Supervisors to join our team in Far North Queensland. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to contribute to a growing retail business.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient staff management, and compliance with company standards. Duties include:

-Delivering prompt and high-quality service to customers

-Handling customer inquiries and resolving complaints professionally

-Planning and preparing staff work schedules and assigning duties

-Recruiting, training, evaluating, promoting, and, where necessary

-Providing guidance to staff on handling complex sales and customer service situations

-Assessing returned goods and determining appropriate actions

-Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders for new stock as required

-Ensuring accurate pricing and effective product display across the store

-Enforcing safety, security, and compliance procedures

-Supporting merchandising and promotional activities

-Monitoring sales performance and implementing strategies to improve results

-Ensuring adherence to company policies and relevant retail legislation

Qualifications and Experience

To be eligible for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

-Have a minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience in a retail supervisory role

-Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively

-Strong communication and customer service skills

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
