Sheetmetal Workers

Total Insulation work with you to provide a unique industrial insulation solution that fits your project specifications, your timeframe, and your budget. We are currently looking to recruit experienced and qualified Sheetmetal Workers to join their team in Cooper Plains and Midvale WA.

Successful applicants will need to possess and undertake:

- Willingness to work with strong attention to detail

- Be punctual and responsible

- Proficiency in both MIG and TIG welding

- Ability to read and interpret drawings to fine specifications

- Experience in handling a range of materials, including difficult materials

- Experience with materials such as steel, aluminium & polymer

- Cutting material, weld prep, grinding

- Adherence to WHS

- Select types of Sheetmetal according to building or design plans

- Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets

- Duct fabrication in some roles

- Install metal sheets with supportive frameworks

- Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites

- Manoeuvre and anchor large sheet metal parts

Skills & Attributes:

- At least 3 years’ experience in steel/aluminium Sheetmetal and/or duct fabrication

- Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication) or equivalent

- Ability to work in a team environment

Salary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience
