Premier Constructions Australia is one of Australia's leading service providers specialising in steel fixing, formwork, concrete, and labour, equipment & fleet hire.

Working on various projects across Adelaide's Inner South, we are currently seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the smooth running of the office, acting as the main point of contact for all clients, subcontractors, suppliers and employees.

• Contributing to the planning and review of office services, and setting priorities and office service standards.

• Allocating human resources, space and equipment, and assigning work to and monitoring the performance of staff.

• Coordinating personnel activities such as hiring, promotions, performance management, payroll, training and supervision.

• Liaising with all new and existing employees regarding documentation and project/site information for inductions.

• Managing the office's records and accounts, including overseeing the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

• Overseeing the accounts payable process, including the coding and approval of all invoices and subcontractor payment applications.

• Responsible for payment claims for all major clients, including all supporting documentation.

• Developing, reviewing and negotiating variations to contracts, programs, projects and labour hire agreements with clients.

• Scheduling and maintaining meetings, and providing project coordinators with assistance on administrative duties related to their projects.

• Liaising with professionals to coordinate office business and facilitate the resolution of problems.

• Assisting other managers, engineers, and accounts teams, both internally and externally.

• Actively collaborating with temporary placement agencies to responsively address staffing needs.

• Ensuring office equipment and supplies are properly maintained.

• Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

• Ensuring work complies with relevant government legislation, policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in an office management or senior administration role, ideally within the construction, civil or trades industry.

• Experience with accounts payable/receivable, invoicing and payroll processes.

• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.

• Sound understanding of occupational health and safety compliance requirements.

• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency with MS Office and general office/accounting software.

• A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work well within a small team.

Salary Range : $90,000 to $105,000
