Plasterer

Moggys Group is currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Plasterer to join their team in Paget QLD.

The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

- Decide plasterboard layout and install insulation and vapour barriers.

- Measure, mark and cut plasterboard, position and secure panels to walls, ceilings and battens

- Create corner beads and secure them in position

- Cover joins and nail holes with wet plaster and sealing compounds, and smooth them using wet brush and sandpaper

- Plumb and straighten angles, corners, ceiling and wall surfaces

- Apply and finish acoustic, fireproofing and insulating materials bonded with plaster, plastic cement and similar materials

Skills and Abilities:

- Must have a minimum of three years’ experience as a qualified Plasterer or equivalent

- Certificate (III) in Plastering or relevant

- Ability to work in a team environment

Salary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience.

Fulltime Position available.
