Salary : $79,423 - $95,000 a year

The heritage-listed Tathra Hotel (Walhara Pty Ltd) has been a central part of the Tathra community for over a century, providing a welcoming meeting place for the headland for both locals and visitors. The Tathra Hotel Bistro Menus change seasonally to reflect the local produce available.

Tathra Hotel is currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Hotel Manager for its accommodation venue to join their team.

Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities:

Oversee daily hotel operations during assigned shifts.

Monitor the performance and coordination of Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other operational departments.

Ensure hotel policies, procedures, and operational standards are consistently followed.

Maintain a high standard of professional guest service throughout the hotel.

Respond to guest enquiries, requests, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Investigate and resolve operational or service issues and implement appropriate service recovery when required.

Monitor guest feedback and identify opportunities to improve the guest experience.

Supervise hotel employees during assigned shifts and provide operational direction and support.

Ensure appropriate handling of hotel keys, payments, cash, and guest information in accordance with company procedures.

Ensure hotel health, safety, security, and emergency procedures are followed.

To be considered for the position you must possess the following:

At least 2 years experience in a similar role

Relevant qualifications

Strong knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality service standards.

Proven supervisory and leadership skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong customer service and conflict-resolution abilities.

Ability to make sound operational decisions independently.

Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Knowledge of workplace health, safety, security, and emergency procedures.
