Plumber (General)

JRT Group is seeking qualified Plumbers to join their team. The Plumber (General) is responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and civil infrastructure projects. The role requires trade-level expertise, regulatory compliance, and independent judgement consistent with ANZSCO Skill Level 3.

Main Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Install, repair, and maintain water supply, drainage, sewerage, stormwater, and gas systems

Interpret plumbing drawings, specifications, and building codes

Perform pressure testing, fault diagnosis, and system commissioning

Ensure all works comply with Australian Standards, NCC, and WHS requirements

Liaise with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades

Supervise apprentices or trade assistants when required

Maintain accurate service records and compliance documentation

Respond to emergency plumbing repairs as required

To be considered for this role, you must have the following:

Trade qualification equivalent to Certificate III in Plumbing

Relevant state plumbing licence or registration (or eligibility)

White Card (Construction Induction)

Minimum 2 years of experience in the same field

Good working knowledge of water supply, heating, and ventilation systems

Proficiency in reading blueprints and using plumbing tools

Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills

Good listening and communication skills

Good time management and organisational skills

Self-motivated, organised, punctual, and reliable

Must have great work ethics

Salary: Between $79,499 and $82,000 per annum + Super
