The Trustee for Diamond Dough No 2 Trust, trading as Casa Menta, is undertaking targeted recruitment of suitably qualified, full-time Restaurant Managers to support and strengthen the venue’s front-of-house leadership and overall operational management. Located on the Bundaberg waterfront, Casa Menta is a high-volume, full-service dining venue recognised for its contemporary Australian menu, premium service standards, and a stable, year-round customer base comprising both local patrons and tourism-driven trade.

The venue operates under a structured restaurant service model supported by strong weekend trade and pronounced seasonal peaks. This operational environment requires experienced Restaurant Managers capable of overseeing daily venue operations, coordinating front-of-house teams, maintaining service quality, and ensuring seamless integration between the dining floor and kitchen operations during high-volume service periods. The role also involves supervising staff performance, managing customer service standards, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting the commercial performance of the venue.

These are permanent, full-time positions remunerated within the range of AUD 75,000 to AUD 85,000 per annum plus superannuation, benchmarked against market salary rates and commensurate with the managerial responsibility, leadership capability, and operational expertise required to maintain service standards, regulatory compliance, and sustained business performance within a premium hospitality environment.

Job tasks and responsibilities:

- Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations

- Deliver superior service and maximise customer satisfaction

- Control operational costs and identify measures to meet budget

- Undertake all aspects of staff management, including staff rosters.

- Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices

- Ability to estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products

- Be committed to exceeding guest expectations

- Ensuring all staff are adhering to approved work practices and guidelines

- Ability to work closely with the Head Chef to create a team dynamic between BOH and FOH

- Ability to develop and implement menus with the Senior Chef team

- Working knowledge of OH&S/WH&S

- Review and prepare reports for senior management.

- Drive to succeed and grow within the restaurant group.

To be considered for this role, you should:

- Be willing to relocate if you are interstate or in other cities.

- Be available on both days at weekends and be able to work split shifts.

- A relevant Diploma qualification and at least 2-3 years of employment experience within the hospitality industry

- Have a current RSA certificate

- Customer-focused and passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences

- Display excellent presentation, organisation and communication skills
