Salary $79,500 plus super

Restaurant, cafe, licensed dining, production kitchen, bakery.

We are looking to fill the following position of a full time chef.

Duties involved but not limited to are:

• Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes as per our standards

• Assisting in creating menus with flair and innovation having regard to our stock, season and patron preferences

• Monitoring stock level, preservation and rotation/ordering accordingly to ensure minimal wastage

• Assisting and training kitchen staff in understanding dish preparation, ingredients and cooking techniques

• Aiding in the selection and training of kitchen staff

• Managing kitchen staff if required

• Ensuring health regulations are met at all times by all kitchen staff

• Ensure patron satisfaction & experience by delivering dishes to expectation monitoring quality at all times

We require the following:

• Possess no less than 2 years of experience in a similar role

• Be consistent and able to work well in a team

• Be able to perform well under pressure

• Cert III or/and cert IV in Commercial Cookery/Kitchen Management (preferred)

• Be consistent and able to work well in a team
