We are seeking an experienced Supply & Distribution Analyst to analyse product supply, inventory and distribution processes across our domestic and international operations. The position will examine demand forecasts, stock movements, supplier performance, freight arrangements and delivery outcomes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
The successful candidate will work closely with procurement, warehousing, sales, finance and customer service teams to improve product availability, inventory planning, distribution efficiency and supply-chain performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyse product demand, sales forecasts, stock movements and inventory levels to identify supply requirements, shortages, excess stock and replenishment priorities.
• Review PARISI’s purchasing, storage and distribution processes and recommend improvements to efficiency, cost control, product availability and delivery performance.
• Monitor and analyse the performance of local and international suppliers, freight providers and distribution partners against quality, cost and delivery requirements.
• Examine supply-chain data, inventory records, shipment tracing and delivery outcomes and prepare reports, forecasts and recommendations for management.
• Liaise with procurement, sales, showroom, warehouse, finance and customer service teams to identify supply-chain issues and support the implementation of agreed improvements.
• Analyse warehousing, freight and distribution costs and assist in developing procedures and performance measures to improve supply-chain operations and customer service.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• AQF degree in supply chain management, logistics, business analytics, commerce or a related discipline, or at least five years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience analysing supply-chain, inventory, procurement or distribution processes.
• Strong knowledge of demand forecasting, inventory planning, shipment tracking and supply-chain performance measures.
• Proficiency in analysing operational data and preparing reports, forecasts and recommendations.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail.
• Effective communication and stakeholder-management skills, with experience working across procurement, warehousing, sales and finance functions.
