About the Position

We're looking for a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. This is a hands-on, service-driven role in a high-volume environment where consistency and reliability matter as much as technical skill. You'll work across rotating sections, contributing to a menu that celebrates honest, well-executed pub food.

Key Responsibilities:

Work across kitchen sections, handling both prep and service with confidence.

Maintain consistent standards in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.

Follow kitchen hygiene, WH&S, food safety, and stock management procedures, including rotation and labelling.

Oversee daily cleaning routines and ensure proper storage and maintenance of stock.

Work collaboratively with senior chefs, assisting with handovers and supporting apprentices where required.

About You:

2–3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, in a similar role.

Comfortable working at pace without cutting corners.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

A genuine appreciation for well-made food that doesn't overcomplicate things.

Daylesford Hotel is managed by Walter Christy Pty Ltd, which also oversees the management of Cliffy's Emporium. While each venue has its own identity, both share a commitment to quality food, great service, and genuine hospitality.
