Seeking a Senior Administration and Project Officer to join our Corporate Services Team!

This role provides high-level administrative and project coordination support that keeps the network's operational priorities on track. Support end to end workforce processes, including (but not limited to) medical student placements, junior and senior medical staff rostering systems, and AMC workplace based assessment.

About the role:

Reporting to the Strategic Manager, this role is integral to high-level coordination and administrative support across key EDMS functions, with a focus on the medical education and training pipeline.

Duties for the role will include:

Develop, coordinate and sustain key medical workforce priorities including medical student placements, electronic rostering (eRostering) and AMC workplace-based assessment processes.

Provide consistent administrative oversight to reduce operational pressure on Director Medical Services and Medical Clinical Leadership.

Review workforce processes for effectiveness, efficiency and alignment with operational needs.

Ensure medical workforce activities comply with organisational policy, enterprise agreements, accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.

Support medical education and training activities to minimise disruption and ensure continuity across the workforce pipeline from student placement through postgraduate training.

Support training and capability development of medical workforce support staff, including use of electronic rostering systems, clarification of roles and responsibilities, and system functionality.

Enable the Director of Medical Services, clinical leaders and medical educators to focus on clinical leadership, service delivery and training quality.

About you:

Qualification in Medical Terminology or Health Administration, or equivalent experience.

Experience providing administrative or coordination support in a healthcare or complex organisational environment.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with clinicians, senior staff and external partners.

Experience managing competing priorities and compliance driven processes.

Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills to work with clinicians, senior leaders, education providers and external stakeholders.

High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in workforce records, rostering data, placement documentation and assessment tracking.

Experience supporting workforce, training or system based processes such as rostering, placements or assessments is desirable.
