Truck Driver – Applecross WA

Kogan People Solutions, recruiters, are assisting a growing logistics company providing quality transport and freight services to recruit qualified and experienced Truck Drivers to join the operations team. The firm is well equipped with modern fleet consisting of HR trucks, tipper trucks, and more.

As the business continues to grow, our client is seeking experienced truck drivers who can deliver outstanding and reliable service.

The Role

• Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 per annum + Superannuation.

• Tenure: Full-time and ongoing.

• Location: Based in Applecross, WA, with the yard located a short commute in Wattleup. Work commitments involve driving and deliveries across the Perth Metro Area.

Responsibilities

• Loading & Unloading: Securing loads to prevent damage or spoilage, strictly adhering to safety and hygiene regulations.

• Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspecting the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness (checking tires, brakes, lights, and fluid levels).

• Route Planning: Following the most efficient routes to save time and fuel.

• Compliance: Keeping accurate records of deliveries (logbooks), maintenance checks, and incidents.

• Communication: Coordinating with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to ensure smooth operations.

To be considered for this role you must have:

• License: A current HR and / or HC/MC license

• Experience: At least 1 to 3 years of relevant driving experience.

• Qualifications: Suitable work experience is essential; a relevant Certificate II or III is highly regarded.

• Skills: Strong written documentation skills and accuracy in record keeping.

• Reliability: Proven adherence to schedules and a solid work ethic.

• Checks: Willingness to provide a driving history report and undertake pre-employment health/drug screening.
