Salary: $79,500 per annum + superannuation

About the Role

Rewilding Minds is seeking a full-time Support Worker to provide in-home and community-based support to people diagnosed with Brain Cancer.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

*Assisting with domestic tasks and chores such as shopping, menu planning, cooking, washing, toileting and cleaning

*Helping with outings, social activities and other daily routines

*Providing companionship and support to assist clients to develop their existing skills, abilities and confidence

*Accompanying disabled persons during daily activities

*Assisting clients with their mobility

*Preparing food for clients

*Performing housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming and cleaning

*Assisting in personal hygiene and dressing

*May do shopping and run errands

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

*Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role

*Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33015) or a Certificate IV in Disability (CHC43115) or a Bachelor of Social Work

*Strong interpersonal and communication skills

*Ability to work independently in a community-based setting

Nomination for a temporary work visa and/or permanent residency may be considered for eligible candidates, subject to meeting all legislative requirements.
